ABOUT
the Guy

My Style

My style breaks down into two parts: aesthetics and approach. The aesthetics I describe as rich, vibrant, and real, aiming to capture real life with a slight exaggeration. My approach is intentional, neither overly posed nor purely candid. I blend deliberate, classic poses with candid, fly on the wall moments. Above all, I aim to capture photographs that strike an emotional chord and feel timeless, as if the timestamp has been removed.

My Method

Genuine moments cannot be forced, they must occur naturally. Over the years, I’ve found that the most effective method is creating an environment of joy and positivity for my couples. It’s about being positive myself and instilling confidence that their day will be amazing. It’s about reminding my couples that the opinions of their quirky relatives are irrelevant because today is about them. It’s about advocating for my couples and ensuring no one dampens their special day. It’s about constantly joking around to lighten the mood while maintaining a serious degree of professionalism at all times. Above all, it’s about remembering that this isn’t just “another wedding” but one of the most important days of someone’s life, and I’ve been given the honor of capturing it. My couples are incredibly important to me. That’s why I strategically include engagement sessions in all my packages. Meeting before the wedding is paramount. I can’t be a stranger during the intimate moments of their wedding day.

My Story

I’ve always been restless with my needs to be creative, always been fascinated with technology, and always persistent with my independence which has lead me to owning my own business as a professional photographer. Since the very beginning, I was attracted to being creative. At nine I realized that I was terrible withdrawing so I decided to give up the art. At 14 I discovered cameras. At 16 I dropped out of high school to pursue my dream as a working photographer. At 17 I began working for a weddings photographer while at the same time I grew up working in the restaurant business. Speaking of restaurants, I mentioned this cause I'm very proud of it because I firmly believe that that's what gave me my true work ethic. Believe it or not, I attribute my ability to stay calm, cool and always upbeat and positive on a wedding day to my experience in the restaurant. At 22 I started my business officially, and went out on my own as a photographer. Now I currently reside with my wife in Denville, New Jersey, down the road from where I grew up.
